It has been confirmed that Vincent Wong of iForged has a new pet project.  He has put a deposit on the beautiful Misha Designs Mercedes SL Widebody Kit.

“Its has been over a year since I built the Tech Art GT Street Porsche and in the meantime I have been looking to do another project. It is definitely a sick addiction says Wong.”

He says that BASF, Fox Marketing, and Diamond Audio are already on board to help with the project.  The car will be unveiled later this Fall at the 2010 SEMA show in the iForged Booth.  We will keep you posted on updates and the entire building process in the next few months.

Misha Designs unveiled the Widebody Mercedes SL on the 2nd weekend of June at the Fairmont Hotel in San Franicsco.  The debut took place at the start of the goldRush Rally put on by Luxury 4 Play forums.

Misha has released today details about an all new tuning program for the Porsche 996 and 997 Turbo which features a unique styling package. The aerodynamics kit consists of a new front spoiler lip, new side skirts, extra air vents in the hood, a new diffuser with an integrated exhaust system with 4 pipes, side air vents and a new GT2-style spoiler.

The car tuners haven’t made any changes under the hood and that means the 996 Turbo still has 420 HP and the 997 Turbo still has 480 HP to play with. All parts of this unique styling package are completely built up of carbon fiber. Misha has also installed a set of LED daytime running lights and a new set of black wheels with borders painted in the same color as the car.
